Ares – No Takers for Ruckus

At my university dorm there was a big controversy a while back. We all use the Ares file sharing software to get our music and to keep our collections growing even when we are not able to afford to buy music on our student budgets. The university started trying to get us to take this ruckus software to get our music, since they said it was safer and had advantages over what we all use already. It really seemed like propaganda from them and we all saw it for what it was and began referring to it as the ruckus ruse against p2p filesharing which it was.

South Korean Executions For Copying And Distribution of Movies
Most everyone has heard the saying of an eye for an eye. This style of justice is not practiced today in the Westernized culture. There are still places in the world that find this justice proper. Recently South Korea held executions for copying and distribution of movies. There were several young people that were convicted and put to death for this activity. I understand that they were doing something illegal but we don’t even kill murderers in this country if they have only done it once. I could not believe when I heard that this was the punishment in that country.
